Furniture Before and Afters

Yeah, we've been busy since we became home owners again. Paul and I have had a blast finding, prepping, painting, sometime repainting and setting up furniture in our house. We have become Craig's List experts over the last year.

I just wanted to document here some of our before and afters. When I think of all that needs to be done in our house I can get overwhelmed, but when I look at what we have done I feel a little sense of accomplishment.

Love the detail on this 100 year old set!





Happy girl...she loves her new room even though it is far from finished! Paul and I are in the middle of building bookshelves for her room as we speak. We bought baskets to go on the shelves to store all her STUFF!

Tis was our $2 garage sale chair from a few weeks ago. I just knew it would be precious repainted...and I think I was right!

Last but not least...

These were the chairs we pulled out of our neighbors trash. Her cats had destroyed them with the hair deposits and scratching! Look at them now though!!
