Go Trojans!! (and Cait!)

Our little girl participated in a summer cheerleading camp with the TCA varsity cheerleaders. She had a blast!!! Then, last week they let the little girls cheer at the lower school pep rally. It was packed with proud parents who came to see their daughter cheer. So sweet!!

Go, go Trojans! Go, go, go Trojans!!

I say blue, you say white!
BLUE!
WHITE!
BLUE!
WHITE!

To start off the festivities the drum line lined up outside my classroom and marched through the halls. All the classes followed them in parade style to the gym.

The fourth graders were just a little excited!

Here's B coming in with his class.

This is Rod Morris, my boss, the lower school head. He always leads the pep rallies and calls the games. He is earned the name, "The voice of Trinity"!

Love this picture. Well, it WAS loud!

Sweet girly!

After a VERY sweet cheer for the Trojans, our friend Steve Hayes, who is the varsity football coach, got us all pumped about the game. We are currently #1!!!

Go get 'em Trojans!!!

Lake house fun...one last time

The summer is on its way out...but I thought I'd post a few end of the lake house season pics. Fun times as usual.
We had a new addition to our usual fun this time though...a water trampoline! It was a blast!!

Getting cocky and ditching the life vest!!

Don't you just want to eat her with a spoon??? She's a dumpling, I tell you!

Sue and mom loving on Luke. Love hurts in this family, Luke!

Momma and her girl

Paul plays with the kids unlike any dad I know! They love him for that!

The annual pic we take of the kids had to change this year. We used to sit them on the bullet on the porch, but at the end of last summer it died. So we transitioned to the jet ski. Look how big they are!!!!

Last year's photo

This year

Summer is over...but next some fall. And you all know how much I love the fall!!

First Day of School

Well, I've become very much engrossed with Facebook. It's such the quick and dirty way of catching up with people and getting a little connection with the outside world. I can spend like 5 minutes on there and be completely satisfied. I can post one sentence updates and be done. I love it. However, since my scrapbooking days are behind me (not because I chose for it to be, but it obviously is considering I haven't touched it since I met Paul (year and a half ago). So....this is my documentation of life instead, my blog. I...must...post!!!

So, we had a great first day. I feel like a veteran now with it being my third year there. Benjamin is now upstairs with me...and does he have an amazing teacher!!! Our sweet friend, Mrs. Cook! Double Hooray from us all!!! Cait is just below me, right down the stairs. I feel like I have all my little chicks very close to me. I love it!!

Here are some pictures from our first day...

Cool new backpacks

They really are buddies ya know!

#19 finding his cubby. A big kid backpack too!

Oh the blessing!!! There are no words! He tells us everyday (just in case we forgot) that Mrs. Cook is the best teacher in the world!! It's going to be a great year!!

Cait baby with her teacher Miss Wyatt. She is spontaneous and fun and the perfect teacher for little girl!

God is so good to give us Trinity. We trust that he has placed our kids right where He wanted them this year. We also trust that He gave me just the kiddos that I was supposed to teach this year! I feel blessed. I have a brand new teaching assistant named Brandie. She is a complete gift from God!! There is such hope for a great year...for all of us!
